Valerie Ann Caulfield Meyers, age 47 of Joppa, IL passed away at 4:21 P.M. on Monday, November 11, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident.Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis. Father Michael Christopher Mujule will officiate. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis, IL.Valerie was of the Catholic Faith.She is survived by her mother, Mary O'Shea of Joppa, IL; one son, James Fordin of Joppa, IL; one sister, Jennifer Caulfield of Joppa, IL; one brother, Brian Caulfield of Statesville, NC; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; fiancé, Paul D. Meyers Jr. of Grand Chain, IL.She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Francis Caulfield.Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.
