Truman Franklin Latham, age 81 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 9:35 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

There will not be any services.

Truman is survived by his son, T. Frank Latham, Jr. and companion Crystal; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Davis and Flora Owens; brothers, Jim Latham and Jerry Latham; several nieces and nephews.

Truman was preceded in death by his parents, Thelbert and Opal (Eaves) Latham; wife of 44 years, Brenda Sue (Bruce) Latham; daughter, Opal Louise “Pup” Stafford; grandson, Truman Franklin “Frankie” Latham III; sisters, Alma Humes, Helen Greek, Mary Sullivan, Thelma Crenshaw, Dorothy Blankenship, and Melba Miller; brothers, Thelbert Latham, Jr., Robert Latham, and Gilbert Latham.
