Truman Franklin "Frankie" Latham III, age 12, of Metropolis, IL passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Frankie is survived by his father, T. Frank Latham Jr. and companion Crystal of Metropolis; mother, Kellie L. Latham of Metropolis; grandfather, Truman Franklin Latham Sr. of Metropolis; three sisters, Kimberly Ward of Louisville, KY, Kendra Howett of St. Louis, MO, and Samantha Carnes of Metropolis; four brothers, James Vickery of Brookport, James Bradley of Metropolis, Chandler Carnes of Metropolis and Ryan Carnes of Metropolis. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Latham. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
