Traven Corey Ervin, age 46 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 11:36 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah.Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis. Rev. Orlando McReynolds will officiate. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.He is survived by his mother and father, Ann Estelle and Calvin Owens of Metropolis; daughter, Chelsea Pollard of Metropolis; grandson, Qaiyim Ibn-Shabazz Pollard of Metropolis; granddaughter, Rugayyah Pollard of Metropolis; sisters, Dia "Nikki" Lieberenz and husband Steven of Lisle, IL, Ellen Owens of Metropolis, Tracey Williams of Charleston, MO; brothers, Michael Owens of Bangor, ME, Kevin Ferguson of Metropolis; uncle, John W. Fears; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Gladys Owens; grandmother, Queen E.
