Mr. Tommy Swafford, age 67, of Brookport, IL, died at 2:40 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel with Rev. David Siere officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.Tommy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Swafford of Brookport; seven children, Tommy, Marlena, Tammy and Paul Swafford all of Brookport, and Tommy, Timmy, and Butch of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Madie Swafford; three sisters, Mary Acevedo, Pat Tate, and Barbara Jacobs; one brother, Paul Swafford; two nephews, Edward Welch and Ronald Acevedo.He will be dearly missed by family and friends.Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
