Timothy E. Lewis, 61, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Joppa, IL, passed away at 7:00 p.m. Friday April 30, 2021 in bed at home.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the memorial service. Burial will be at a later date in the Lewis Family Cemetery in Joppa, IL.

Timothy was a full-time dad and the world's best Paw-Paw.

Timothy is survived by his spouse, Megan Lewis; two daughters, Courtney Lewis of Gulf Shores, AL and Alisha Moreland of Metropolis; two sons, Daniel Lewis and wife Amanda of Robertsdale, AL, and Tim Lewis II and Charlee Gilbert of Metropolis; 10 grandchildren, Daniel Lewis II, Brodie Moseley, Brooklynn Lewis, Sydney Lundin, Bear Lundin, Myles Lewis, Mila Lewis, Kenley Harris, Carlene Harris, and Arliss Hicks; six sisters, Cheryl Gilbert, Tina Lawless, Susan Anderson, Shelly Lewis, Shannon Root, and Barbie Lewis; two brothers, Dennis "Link" Lewis and Richard Root; and a ton of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Lewis; one sister, Nancy Habeeb; two brothers, Pat Lewis and Michael "Tykie" Lewis.
