Thomas Dale "Tommy" Ridge, age 62 of Metropolis, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at his residence.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Tommy had worked as a diesel mechanic at VMV in Paducah, was an avid metal artist, and will be greatly missed.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Pamela Grant; daughter, Halie Hunerkoch and husband Adam; grandchildren, Palmer Hunerkoch and Tate Hunerkoch; sister, Shireen Pintze and husband John; brother, Bryan Ridge and wife Diane; nephews, Cullen Pintze, Max Pintze, Ian Ridge, Trevor Ridge, Nick Holland, and Drew Hillebrand; several great nieces and great nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Max Ridge; step father, Charles Grant; brother, Glenn Ridge.

Memorials may be made in Tommy's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
