Mr. Thomas J. Ragain, age 72 of Anna, IL, formerly of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at SIH Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Seven Mile Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Forthman Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Thomas was a retired minister who loved spreading the word of the Lord. He was a member of Anna First Baptist Church and enjoyed being a church planner with his wife, Nancy. Thomas liked hunting with his dogs, especially bird hunting.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Ragain; one sister, Rhonda Wallace; two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall Dee Ragain and Nancy Hayden.
