Thelma Marie Throgmorton, 77, of Metropolis, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Massac Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Aikins Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. David Wright officiating.Thelma is survived by two children, Linda Ford of Metropolis and Danny Phillips and his wife Lisa of Joppa, IL; one stepson, Kevin Throgmorton and wife Phyllis of Metropolis; four grandchildren, Angella Stubblefield and husband Michael, Savanna Cunningham and husband Wesley, Kayla Phillips, and Joe Phillips; one step granddaughter, Angella Throgmorton; three great grandchildren, Jayce Cunningham, Madison Legereit, and Hayley Cunningham, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Fern Cohoon; her husband, Reed Throgmorton; one son, Kevin Throgmorton; two sisters, Wilma Sledd, and Mary Beggs; one brother, Larry Cohoon; and one half brother, Donald Modglin.
