Terry Neil Angel, age 74 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with military rites. Rev. Bobby Parker will officiate.

Terry was a retired Iron Worker, Millwright, Carpenter, and Concrete Finisher. He served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Terry is survived by his daughters, Eva Bowen (David Hatfield) and Ashley Woody (Troy); step children, Nicole Burton (Kevin), Lisa Babb Williamson (Greg), and Todd Babb; grandchildren, Eryn Trojanowski, Stephen Bowen, Evan Bowen, Kaylie Newbold, Mackenzie Woody, Haley Woody, and Raegan Woody; step grandchildren, Vivian Scott (Austin), Miranda Burton, Abby Orr (Austin), Ally Rick, and Maddie Babb; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Angel and Eva (Parker) Huss; step father, Ray Huss; birth mother, Mattie Tanner; wife, Brenda (Hurst) Angel; brother, Tony Allen Parker.

Memorials may be made in Terry's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 6675-8516.
