Mr. Taylor Lee Williams, age 65, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Nashville Community Care and Rehab in Nashville, TN.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Grant Payne officiating. Taylor worked for Cannamore's Stone Co. as a stone cutter and was a Jehovah's Witness. Taylor is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ann Williams of Metropolis; one daughter, Inette Mayes of Detroit, MI; one son, Timothy Williams of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one stepson, Charles Wayne Allen of Metropolis; 12 brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; one aunt, Robbie Lyons of Racine, WI.He was preceded in death by his parents, T.A. and Elnora (Cobbs) Williams; five brothers and sisters.Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home from 9:00-11:00 a.m.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
