Stella Louise Baker Miechur, 69 of Alpha, NJ, formerly of Joppa, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in New Jersey.

A celebration of life will be held for Stella from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Living Waters Full Gospel Church in Joppa with Pastor Shane Baker officiating.

Stella enjoyed painting and photography and could play just about any instrument you put in her hands including clarinet, saxophone, flute and the piano.

Stella is survived by her husband, Craig Miechur of Alpha, NJ; children, Cynthia Johnson and Marla Johnson both of Metropolis and Matthew Johnson of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Samantha (Cody) Barton, Christopher (Lenny) Bullard, Corey (Kara) Bullard, Caitlin (Bill) Veit and Destiny (Paul) Agan-Johnson; 14 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Deborah Hicks of Metropolis, Leonard Baker of Calvert City, KY and Shane (Mary) Baker of Grand Chain, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. and Irma Jean Baker; and 3 siblings, Kathy Swenney, Thomas Baker and Phillip Baker.
