Mr. Stanley Allan McDuffee, age 65, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at his home.Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Bro. Chris Sielbeck officiating. Burial will follow.Mr. McDuffee was an US Air Force veteran, retired foreman from Honeywell, and member of Eastland Baptist Church. He was also a pool player, loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, the outdoors, and was a coach with the local Khoury League Association.Stanley is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice L. Rushing McDuffee of Metropolis; two sons, Michael McDuffee and wife Stephanie of Grand Chain and Philip McDuffee of Sydney, Australia; two grandchildren, Ashton and Destiny McDuffee; two step grandchildren, Jessica Sommer and Kyndra Calvin; one brother, Danny McDuffee of Brookport; and one aunt, Brenda Burris.He was preceded in death by his parents, Rubine (Brewer) and Carl McDuffee Jr.; two brothers, John and Terry McDuffee.There will be no visitation.
