Stanley Troy Cook age 67 of Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 3:45 p.m. at the St. Mary's and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born in Alexandria, LA to Ray and Joyce (Pryor) Cook on January 1, 1949.Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel with Rev. Larry Call officiating, burial will follow in the Pell Cemetery.Stanley is survived by his daughter, Suddie Calhoun and granddaughter, Zoe Calhoun both of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Parents, Ray and Joyce Cook of Brookport, IL, Four sisters, Beverly Williams of Port Arthur, TX, Jo Rita west of Fort Worth, TX, Cheryl Barfoot of Lago vista, TX and Juanita Behar of Seattle, WA; several nieces and nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Emma Pryor, George Cook, Bessie and Marvin Davis; one brother Robert on July 12, 2015 in Louisville, KY.Mr. Cook worked as a radio Newscaster in Lexington and Louisville and was a member of the Okolona Christian Church in Louisville, KY.Friends may call at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m.On line condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
