Mr. Stan Lindsey, age 64, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Metropolis Rehab and Health Care Center.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Deem officiating with burial to follow. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Stan is survived by his step uncle, Leonard "Penny" Trampe and wife Ruth of Metropolis; several step cousins and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lindsey and Margaret (Shaw) Trampe; step father, Bill Trampe; and companion Dorinda Hankins.Memorial contributions may be given in the form of donations to the charity of your choice.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
