Shirley Massie, age 83 of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 6:34 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Paducah.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Pell Cemetery with Rev. Jack Russell officiating. There will not be any visitation, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Mrs. Massie was of the Baptist faith.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Kathy Benard and husband Dale and Kelly Harris and husband Don; two grandchildren, Dustin Morris and wife Melanie and Casey Forthman and husband Frankie; two great grandchildren, Drew Morris and Eva Forthman; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Nell and Truman Green; husband of 65 years, Everett Massie; brother, Leonard "Pete" Green.

Memorial contributions may be given in Shirley's name to Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
