Shirley A. Cole, age 77 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 9:54 am on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. There will be no funeral. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and attended Cherry Street Pentecostal Church.

Shirley is survived by four sons, Jerry Bradley and wife Gerri, Jimmy Bradley and wife Judy, Mike Bradley and Kenny Gray; four grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, Jessica Doyle, Dylan Wilson and Austin Wilson; one sister, Carol Harris Parmer; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Alma Palmer; one grandson, James Bradley II, one sister, Velma Conner and one brother, Sonny Gray.
