Sharon L. Miller, age 75 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 2:45 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her daughter's residence. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. Rev. Brenda Rust will officiate. Sharon attended Hallelujah Fellowship in Paducah, KY. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Gayla Burnett and husband Kirk; son, Erik Miller; grandchildren, Austin, Aidyn, and Andrew Burnett all of Metropolis, IL; 3 step children; brother, Robert May of Norco, LA; several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Hazel (Sexton) May; husbands, William Ondo and Arthur Miller; sister, Shirley Cox; brother, David May; infant brother, Holden May.
