Ms. Sharon Evans, age 62, of Metropolis, IL, died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Otterbein Cemetery in Pope County, IL with Pastor Charles Tate officiating. Burial will follow. Ms. Evans attended Brookport Church of God and worked at Lynx for many years. Sharon was also an avid Bingo player. Sharon is survived by two children, Chad Harris and Misty Robbins both of Metropolis; five grandchildren, Kalli Harris, Clayton Blanchard, Baylee Blanchard, McKinlee Blanchard, and Liberty Robbins; six siblings, Rhonda Horn and husband Carl, Cathy Konemann, Norman Evans and wife Sharon, Tammy Walker and husband William, Vickie Myrick and husband Jeremiah all of Metropolis and Billy Evans of Brookport; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Henley; brother-in-law, Gary Konemann; and one son, Jeremy Adams. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
