Sharon K. Atnip, age 77 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 6:47 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating.

Sharon loved to read and enjoyed spending time with all of the grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her sister, Teresa Dimmick and husband Wallace; daughter-in-law, Shelley Manley and husband Dennis; granddaughters, Melanie Greer and Alicia (Aaron) Goines; great grandchildren, Brianna, Erin, Kirstan, Bradan, and Ryder; great-great grandchildren, Mason, Maeve, Raelyn and two on the way; several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Byron E. and Mary K. (Worthen) Atnip; companion, Raymond Manley; sister, Gloria Atnip; brother, Gary Atnip.
