Scott A. Margherio age 42 of Metropolis, IL passed away on March 16, 2018 at 7:05 p.m. at his home. Graveside and burial services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Masonic Cemetery with Kelly Glass and Greg Rednour speaking. Scott is survived by his parents, Tony and Brenda (Johnston) Margherio, One sister, Michelle (Missy) Quint and husband Matt, and one brother, Andy Margherio. Nieces and nephew, Neely, Chloe, and Eli Quint; two uncles, Randy Johnston and wife Tracey, and Brad Johnston. Scott was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Freida and Tyre Johnston and his paternal grandparents, Mary Lou and Richard Margherio. He was a member of the Mensa Society and a graduate of the University of Kentucky Law School. There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to go directly to cemetery.
