Scott Hitterman, age 58 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Thursday evening in Metropolis, Illinois.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Scott was retired from the Aviation Industry, working in Houston, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith.

Scott is survived by his mother, Alice Cromeenes Persson; sister, Sherri Hitterman Bennett and husband Jake; nieces, Michelle Marthini and Samantha Marthini Guzman and husband Zeke; one aunt; one uncle; and several cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Hitterman; step father, Sture Persson; one aunt.

Memorials may be made in Scott's name to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 307 Massac Creek Road, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
