Mrs. Ruth A. Metcalf, age 91, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glenn Coram officiating. Burial will follow.Ruth was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and a past employee of the Good Luck Glove Company in Metropolis, IL.Ruth is survived by one daughter, Judy K. White and husband Randy of Paducah, KY; one half-sister, Louella Starbrough of Fairfield; and three half-brothers, Robert Larrison of Greenville, TN, Phillip Larrison, and Kenny Larrison, both of Metropolis, IL; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Loyd Fick of Metropolis, IL.She was preceded in death by her husband Howard W. Metcalf, one infant daughter, Janice Fay Metcalf; one son, Jerry W. Koon and three brothers and one sister. Her parents were Claude and Lena (Lokey) Stafford.
