Roy W. Huss, age 57 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Thursday evening February 29, 2024 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.

Roy volunteered at Project Hope Humane Society, was of the Christian faith, and attended Community Christian Church.

Roy is survived by his sister, Lara Osbourn; aunts, Kathy Crowe (Don), Shirley Bracey; several cousins; and his faithful feline companions, Buddy and Benny.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen R. Huss and Judy Ann (Scott) Elliott; grandparents, Virginia Huss, Wilson Huss, Erwin Scott, and Geneva Scott.

Pallbearers will be Kurt Scott, Chris Scott, Brian Warford, Jason Lynn, Jim Perry, Keith Brewer, Kelly Harris, and Tyler Webb.
