Rose Vaughn, 68 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on September 23, 2021 at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Marion, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Rose had worked at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and loved to read and play games.

Rose is survived by her husband of 47 years, Terry Vaughn; mother, Lois Stearns; daughters, Dawn LaBelle and Tracy Wright; sons, Timothy Vaughn and wife Jennifer and Terry Vaughn Jr.; grandchildren, Rebecca Vaughn, Rachel Vaughn, Nathanel Hanson, Keith Hanson, Zachary Pergande, Tyler Wright, Thomas Wright, Aiden Wright, Chassity LaBelle, and Haley LaBelle; great grandchildren, Isaiah Hines, Lileigh Torres, Winter Torres, Breagan McCoy and Ensley McCoy; siblings, Diane Williams, Jerry Hanson and Dale Zink; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Zink and great grandson, Kayden Lane Hines.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the funeral home.
