Rose Lee Goodman, 86, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis with Rev. Orlando McReynolds officiating.

Rose was a retired LPN and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.

Rose is survived by six sons, Gilbert Goodman, Norman Goodman, Ronald Goodman (Nicole Cande), Bruce Goodman, Rick Goodman (Beth), and Tim Goodman; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Nellie (Lawson) Murrell; three sister, Edna Bond, Hilda Bradford and June; and two brothers, Bert Murrell and Tommy Murrell.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the service at 11 am at the church on Saturday, February 22nd.
