Robin (Johnson) Atkison, age 70 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Baptist Health Paducah surrounded by her family.

There will not be any services.

Robin is retired from Massac Unit #1.

Robin is survived by her son, Matthew Atkison and wife Natalie; grandchildren, Ashe Atkison, Camryn Windings and husband Connor, Matthew D. Atkison, and Ethan Atkison; great grandchildren, Eden Windings and Esther Windings; sister, Vickie Taylor; brothers, Dennis Johnson Jr. and Richard Johnson and wife Kim; several nieces and nephews.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis “Jack” and Cecil Johnson; husband of almost 49 years, Dwight Roger Atkison; son, Jeremy Atkison.
