Mrs. Roberta N. Dillow, age 81, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, KY.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bealmear and Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Roberta was a member of the First United Methodist Church, an avid bridge player, and a devoted wife and mother.Roberta is survived by daughter, Dee Summers of Metropolis; 2 sons, Scott Foreman of Metropolis and William Foreman and wife Susie of Paducah, KY; 2 grandchildren, Tim Stewart of Paducah, KY, and Katie Ital and husband Jesse of Carteville, IL; 3 great-grandchildren, Mallory Stewart and Linkoln Stewart both of Paducah, KY, and Liam Ital of Carterville, IL; 1 brother, Charles Austin and wife Barbara of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Kes and Bertha (Hale) Austin; 1st husband, William Foreman; 2nd husband, Herman Dillow; brother, Herbert Austin; Roberta's twin brother, Robert Austin; and 2 sisters, Clara Jean Evans and Helen Wilkens.Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
