Robert L. "Bob" Stubblefield age 84 of Karnak, IL passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Southgate nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, IL with his family by his side. He was born to Louis and Mary (Parker) Stubblefield on November 12, 1929.Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral home with Rev. R. Charles Blair and Rev. Ben Hottel officiating, burial will follow in the Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery, with military graveside ritesBob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha Sue Stubblefield of Karnak, IL; three daughters, Sandra Sue Inman and husband Bobbie of Karnak, IL, Helen Louise Blanchard and husband Carl of Metropolis, IL, Tina Lynn Ragsdale and husband Lawrence of Karnak, IL; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.Bob was licensed to preach on Sept. 4, 1958 preaching in churches in Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois until his retirement in 2000.
