Robert Michael Harmon, 72 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on October 5, 2023 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehab. He was born on May 13, 1951 to Robert "Woody" and Vickie Harmon.

A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Living Waters Church in Joppa, IL, with Bro. Shane Baker officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12 noon on Saturday, October 14th at the church.

Robert was a talented guitarist and singer who made a career in the entertainment industry. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Robert was a loving father and beloved brother who is going to be missed.

Robert is survived by his children, Jer Banta (Kris), Julie Banta, Zack Landin, and Brandon Harmon; grandchildren, Paxton Banta Hodous (Andy), Michaela Banta, Logan Banta, Camdyn Banta, Landon Banta, Chloe Keinath and Delilah Keinath; great grandchildren, Everly Hodous and Laney Hodous; sister, Brenda Harmon Kerr (Kenny); and brother, Donald Wayne Harmon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Emily Sue Harmon; nephew, Robby Dale Hines.
