Robert Farris, age 67 of Metropolis, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Buchanan officiating.

Robert retired from Triangle and enjoyed Fishing, ST. Louis Cardinals, and his family.

Robert is survived by a daughter, LeAnn McDuffee; granddaughters, Amanda Henley and husband Bryan, and  Marcy Hileman; great grandchildren, Lucas, London, and Logan Henley; sisters, Gilda Christson, Krista Wright, Shelly Manley, Joyce Cole; sister-in-law, Glenda Troutman; several brothers in law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Frances Farris; wife, Georgia Lorene Farris; sister-in-law, Peggy Walters; parents-in-law, George T. and Vernita L. Davis.

There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the services.
