Mr. Robert Cook, age 64, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Brookport, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Baptist Health East in Louisville, KY.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Call officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.Robert was a member of the Okolona Christian Church and worked as a carpet layer.Robert is survived by his parents, Ray and Joyce Cook of Brookport; five stepsons; several step grandchildren; one brother, Stanley Cook of Louisville, KY; three sisters, Beverly Williams, Jo Rita West, and Cheryl Barfoot all of Texas; many cousins; and close friends and caregivers, David and Robin Puyer.He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; and grandparents, Bessie and Marvin Davis, George Cook, and John and Emma Pryor.Visitation will be held at the Brookport Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
