Mr. Robert Lee Cagle, age 91 of Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, KY. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. Robert was retired from Missouri Portland where he worked as a buyer's agent. He attended First United Methodist Church in Metropolis, IL and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Reidland, KY. Robert is survived by his daughter, Sherri Cagle Campbell and husband Michael of Eloy, AZ; sister, Mary Lou Witter of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Evelyn Lee (Frazier) Cagle; wife, Jean Cagle; brother, Harry Cagle; ½ brother, Dick Cagle; ½ sisters, Francis Wiedeman, Helen Cagle, and Ruth Cagle. There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
