Rhonda Jenkins, age 66 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 6:03 am on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born at Massac Memorial Hospital on August 24, 1956.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Shane Baker officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Rhonda was a phenomenal daughter, wife, mother and nana. In her 66 years of life, her family was her most valued treasure. She had a heart of gold and her smile would light up a room. She touched so many lives and when she loved, she loved hard.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Larry Jenkins; daughter, Lee Ann LaBelle; grandchildren, Brittnie LaBelle and Chance LaBelle; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Beard and family; sister, Jeanie  Anderson and husand Bob; and special sister-in-law, Mary Jenkins.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Beard and mother, Wanda Lee (Nelson) Elliott.
