Mr. Randall Joe Hefner, age 61, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Coffeen, IL, passed away on November 23, 2014 at his home.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Zion UCC Cemetery in Massac County with Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Randall was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 148 and Moose Lodge 282. He was employed by Ameren / Cips in Coffeen, IL.Randall is survived by his daughter, Stacie Hefner of Vienna, IL; his son, Jason Hefner and wife Julie of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; 2 grandhchildren, Jake Hefner of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Jaycie Hefner of Vienna, IL; 2 brothers, Scott Hefner and wife Connie of Perks, IL and Kenny Hefner and wife Cindy of Jackson, MO; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Beatrice (Spurlock) Hefner.Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Lourdes Hospice P.O.
