Phyllis L. Riley age 78 of Metropolis, formerly of Golconda, IL passed away at her home on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 10:16 a.m.  She was born on March 5, 1941 to Alvis M. and Lucille (Hall) Belford, who preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 2, 2019 at the Aikins-Farmer- Loftus-McManus Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Father Michael Chris Mujule officiating, burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Riley is survived by one brother, Will Belford and companion Theresa Casteel, of Metropolis, IL; 4 grandchildren, Stacey Busclas and husband Vincent, of Metropolis, Shawn Sullivan and wife Kaloke of Geneva, IL, Rebecca Nelson of West Paducah, KY, Heather Perry of Paducah, KY; nephew, Steve Belford; 14 great grandchildren.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Riley, Daughter, Cheryl DeLacey, son, Randall Riley, and one nephew, Michael Belford.

She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a homemaker.  She worked for the telephone company as an operator and supervisor.

Friends may call at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home on Monday December 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m.
