Perry Steve Miller, 71 of Joppa, IL, passed away at 2:34 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Russell Gilbert officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Perry was retired from EEI and a member of Cherry Street Pentecostal Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received 2 bronze stars.

Perry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda (English) Miller; one son, Stephen Miller and wife Tasha; two grandchildren, Makayla Warran and husband David and Daniel Miller; one sister, Velda Meyer and husband Roy; one brother, Leslie Miller and wife Darlene; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Miller and Nelda (Johnson) Grimes; one sister, Deborah Miller.
