Penny Rose Garner age 55 of Antioch, TN. formally of Metropolis, IL passed away March 24, 2016. She was born July 13, 1960 to Lester and Rosalee (O'Brien) Barger. Graveside and burial services will be Monday March 28, 2016 at 12 noon at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Metropolis, with Rev. Larry Lunsford officiating. Penny is survived by her son, Cory Garner of West Chester, PA, her mother Rosalee Barger of Metropolis, one granddaughter, Lillie Garner of Metropolis, One Brother, Jeff Barger and wife Jackie of Paducah, KY.; along with one aunt and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester. She worked for several years at our local Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Olmsted Locks and Dam. She was of the Christian faith. Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
