Mrs. Paulette Stephens, age 73, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Community Christian Church with Rev. Mike Hardison officiating. Paulette is survived by two sons, Ronald "Steve" Stephens and Robert "Bobby" Stephens and wife Monica all of Metropolis; two grandchildren, Lauren Stephens and Dalton Stephens both of Paducah, KY; one sister, Sharon Burrus and husband Larry of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Opal (Rose) Shreves; husband, Ronnie Stephens; two sisters, Virgie McBride and Aline Troutt; two infant sisters; and six brothers, Elmer Jr., Charles, Wayne, Sylvester, James, and Donald Shreves.
