Paula Sue Watkins, age 86 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 7:35 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

There will not be any services. Paula was of the Baptist faith.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Velvet Watkins; son, Jeffery Welch and wife Lesa; grandchildren, Jeremy Lynch, Jeffrey Lynch, Blake Lynch, Jessica Jenkins, Amanda Robbins, Sarah Welch, Paul Spann; several great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Reimer, Libby Brien, Lisa Cochran, Judy Bradley; several nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rose Wooldrige; husband, Robert Lee Watkins Sr.; sons, Jerry Welch, Robert Lee Watkins Jr.; sister, Connie Watkins; brothers, Eric Wooldrige, Buddy Wooldrige.
