Mr. Patrick E. Owens age 57 of Metropolis, IL passed away December 5, 2016 at the Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was born Feb. 3, 1959 to Cletus and Nell Rose (Moreland) Owens. Patrick was a retired truck driver of 30 plus years. He was a member of the American Legion SAL, and was of the Catholic faith Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 12 noon at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Quint officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Patrick is survived by the Love of his life, Julie Wind of Metropolis, IL, one sister, Kathy Owens Morris of FL, one nephew, Kit Owens of Metropolis, IL, one great niece, Kaley Owens and one great nephew, Kyler Owens, and his fur baby Toby Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Ronnie Owens, Brother in Law Rick Morris and his special fur baby "Buddy". Pallbearers are, Max Bremer, Joel Bremer, Steve Ginger, Scott Welch, Jimmy Burnham, Larry Roberts, Steve Fletcher, Jeff Bullock, and Mark Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers: Bob Wind, and Phillip Dowd.
