Patricia Laird, age 66 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away Wednesday evening August 9, 2017 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis. Rev. Mike Hardison will officiate. Patricia was a member of Community Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Don Laird; son, Donald Ray Laird II; daughter, Pamela Ann Kreuter and husband Hunter; granddaughter, Sarah Kreuter; father, Jack Cosby Garner; brother, Jay Garner; sister, Pam Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Kotter Garner. There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the services. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Pallbearers will be Aaron Horstman, Donald Ray Laird II, Hunter Kreuter, Stewart Weisenberger, Carl Medley, Freddie Laird.
