Pamela Joann Goines, 55 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Pam was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loyal and caring and loved her family fiercely. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

She fought hard for most of her life, including surviving brain cancer in 1999, and she shared her testimony of being healed from cancer with anyone who would listen. She was very active in her church.

Pam was a kid at heart. She enjoyed playing board games, watching Hallmark movies, and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. She brought joy to everyone she met.

Pam is survived by her parents, Jesse and Joyce Goines of Metropolis; siblings, Tammy Goines of Metropolis, JoLynda Leek (Curtis) of Metropolis, Aaron Goines (Alicia) of Vienna, and Christina Hinkle (Travis) of Hernando, MS; nieces and nephews, Brandon Bowman (Ashley), Chris Bowman (Heather), Kennedy Leek, Keaten Leek, Kirstan Goines, Bradan Goines, Ryder Goines, Avery Hinkle, Eli Hinkle, Cohen Hinkle, Eva Hinkle, and Amber Greer (Zac); great nieces and nephews, Lucas Bowman, Peyton Bowman, Gunner Bowman, Harley Bowman, Lainey Oliver, Nolan Henry and Oliver Henry.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jess and Mary Goines and maternal grandparents, Ervin and Ruth Green.

Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bowman, Keaten Leek, Braden Goines, Brandon Bowman, Eli Hinkle, Travis Hinkle and Curtis Leek.

Honorary bearer will be Ryder Goines.
