Norma Jean Krahn, age 92 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 8:47 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound City National Cemetery at 1 pm.

Jean was a member of First Christian Church in Metropolis, an avid bowler until the age of 88, and was an Army veteran serving in Germany. She worked for Time Life magazine in Chicago as a secretary.

Jean is survived by her sisters, Betty Klein of Erie, MI and Mildred Wolfe of Metropolis, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Bertha Wiseman; husband of over 36 years, Bob Krahn; sisters, Roberta Atkison and Margaret Roe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10 am until 11 am at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
