Mrs. Mina Evelyn Hinners, age 93 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Private family graveside services will be held at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Rev. Louis W. Brinker will officiate.Mina sat with people and was a babysitter for many years, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metropolis, and the Eastern Star.Mina is survived by 2 daughters, Janet Logeman and husband Lowell and Marsha Wynne and husband Harold both of Metropolis, IL; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Mina was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Louis and Amble (Massie) Beck; husband, Loren Hinners; 2 great grandchildren, Ashley Keipp and Logan Eickholz; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.There will not be any visitation.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
