Mildred Ann Miller Harris, Age 84 of Paducah, KY went to be with the Lord, August 7, 2026, at approximately 1:40 a.m. at Lakeway Nursing Home in Benton KY after losing her lengthy battle with cancer.

Her lifelong desire was to be a nurse, and after marriage and children, she achieved that goal and completed her Registered Nursing degree at the age of 52. She worked for the American Red Cross in Paducah, KY for several years. She enjoyed being a nurse and loved making a difference in people’s lives. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She loved to write and through that passion she was able to use that talent to write for West Kentucky News. She spent time in the Word reading her bible often. She also liked to draw and spend time with her cats, Percy and Layla.

She is survived by three daughters: Holly (William) Hall of Paducah, Ky, Amy (Chris) McGinness of Karnak, Il, Becky Harris of Paducah, Ky, as well as one son Andrew (Jaimee) Harris of Cleveland, Ohio

She had several grandchildren: Alex, Malisa, Michael, and Harley Hall; Wesley, Evalyn, and Samuel Harris; as well as Courtney Reed, Ashley Watson, Matthew, and Joshua McGinness. She had five Great Grandchildren: Rosalina Hall, Mason Reed, Noah, Cooper, and Miles Watson. She had one Aunt Lila B. Andrews.

Ann was preceded in Death by her Parents, John Wesley & Hilda Louise Miller.

Memorials can be sent to the American Red Cross or American Cancer Society.

Graveside Services will be held at Mt Kenton Cemetery in Paducah, KY on August 14, 2026, at 12: 00 p.m.
