Mildred Irene Hogue, 99, of Jefferson City, MO, formerly of Carbondale and Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City. Missouri.She was born December 24, 1916, in Brookport, IL, the daughter of the late John Decator and Sarah Jane (Owens) Vick.Mildred was united in marriage on January 5, 1936, in Anna, IL to Robert Ignatius Hogue who passed away February 10, 1995.Mildred had been a homemaker the majority of her life.Survivors include: one daughter, Nancy Kay Corzine, Ocean Spring, Mississippi; one son-in-law, Leroy Eggemeyer, Jefferson City; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughter, Janice Eggemeyer; a grandson, Michael Gene Corzine; and 12 brothers and sisters.Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis, IL.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis, IL with Rev. David Keyes officiating.
