Michael Pergande, 59, of Houston, TX formerly of Metropolis, IL, passed away on December 27, 2013.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2013 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Metropolis. Bishop Harper will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.Mike, the first of six brothers and sisters, was born on April 8, 1954 in Metropolis, Illinois, to Joe L. Pergande and Joyce Melba Bacon. He is survived by his mother; his daughters, Holly Pergande Gamez, Ashley Pergande, and Michelle Pergande; his sisters, Beth Treece, Lisa Payne, and Heather Ivey; his brothers, Shawn Pergande and Shannon Ivey; his granddaughters, Charlotte Gamez and Emilie Gamez; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
