Mr. Melvin "Randy" Moss, age 58, of Grand Chain, IL, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home. He was born in Wood River, IL on April 30, 1960 to Carmen E. and Paul Hayes.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Ben Hottel officiating. Burial will follow in Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites.

Mr. Moss was a US Marine Veteran.

Randy is survived by his wife, Rebecca; one son, Joey Meyer and wife Kayla of Villa Ridge, IL; one daughter, Tabatha Sims and husband Matthew of Vienna; one sister, Janet Hastings and husband Kenneth of Brookport; one brother, Thomas Moss of Metropolis; two grandchildren, John and Jacklyn Sims; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joe Moss and Homer Moss; three sisters, Sharon Moss, Kathy Moss, and Suzie Jones.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Randy's name to the Illinois Baptist Children's Home and Family Services 949 County Road 1300 N, Carmi, IL 62821.
