Mary Eilene Stevens, age 95, of Antioch, TN, formerly of Grand Chain, IL, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at The Waterford in Antioch, TN.

Entombment will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens was a beautician who owned Mary's Swirl and Curl in Grand Chain for many years. She was a member of Hamilton Creek Methodist Church in Antioch, TN, Eastern Star, a 50-year member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and was Duke basketball's number 1 fan.

Mary is survived by her son, Charles Stevens; and very close friends, Randy Chandler, Dave Girt, Ann English, and Kenny Clancey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Fredrick and Jennie (Moore) Morey; husband Harold E. Stevens; 2 brothers.
